Why should you replace your electrical wiring?
1. The electrical wiring is so old that the insulation on the wires has already started to crumble. By the way, insulation can deteriorate not only due to age but also because the electrical wiring has been overloaded for an extended period, causing the wires to heat up. 2. The apartment has been subjected to flooding multiple times, after which the electrical wiring had to be restored each time. Even if no electrical problems occurred immediately after flooding, it does not guarantee that issues won't arise later. The issue is that a moist environment has a destructive effect on wires under voltage, at connection points, or in areas with compromised insulation, such as cracked insulation. 3. Ongoing electrical problems. Voltage periodically drops in specific points or rooms, and there is sometimes a burning smell. 4. There was a fire in the apartment (or private house). 5. Mixed wiring - copper wires were partially used, and partially aluminum, with different gauges, etc. It is not advisable to connect copper with aluminum and splice them with wires of smaller gauge. Sooner or later, this can lead to unpleasant consequences
